Attribution Gap Check for Google Ads Accounts

Find out whether your campaigns bid on the customers who pay you or on cheap inquiries that never close. We review your conversion setup read-only and send written findings within five business days.

What you get

What Does the Check Include?

A written report and a 30-minute call. Nothing in your account changes, and there is no obligation to work with us afterwards.

Written findings

Each conversion action your bidding uses, what it really measures, and how far it sits from revenue.

A ranked fix list

The gaps ordered by how much budget they misdirect, so your team knows what to fix first, with us or without us.

A walkthrough call

We go through the findings with your team and answer questions on any item.

A straight answer on fit

Whether the account is ready for revenue-based bidding now, and if not, what has to exist first.

Scope

What We Look At in Your Account

The check covers the signal Smart Bidding learns from. Campaign structure, ad copy and keywords come later; none of them can fix a bidding signal that points at the wrong customers.

Which conversions drive bidding

Primary and secondary actions, and whether a page view or partial form counts as a win.

What value each one carries

A flat value, no value, or a real revenue figure from your systems.

Offline and call data

Whether closed sales and qualified calls reach Google at all, and how long the gap is between the click and the import.

Double counting

The same lead counted by two tags, or a call and a form from one person counted twice.

Bid targets against the signal

Whether your target CPA or target ROAS is set against a number that matches what your business earns.

Microsoft Advertising

The same review on your Microsoft account, if you run one, so both platforms learn from the same signal.

How to read your setup

How Big Is the Gap? Start With What You Bid On

The conversion your bidding uses sets the ceiling on what Google can find for you. Most accounts we review sit in the first two rows.

Bidding on form fills or page visits

Google finds the cheapest people who submit a form. Lead count rises with budget; closed revenue usually does not. Gap: large.

Bidding on calls of any length

Short calls, wrong numbers and existing customers count the same as buyers. Gap: large to medium, depending on how many calls are junk.

Bidding on qualified leads

Better, but a small deal and a large one look identical to the algorithm. Gap: medium.

Bidding on closed revenue or lifetime value

Google can tell a high-value customer from a small one and spends toward the first. Gap: small; the check looks at accuracy and import delay.

Getting started

What We Need From You

Read-only access to your Google Ads account, and to Microsoft Advertising if you use it. We cannot change bids, budgets or campaigns with that access level.

Step 1

Request the check

Send the form with your monthly spend and the platforms you run.

Step 2

Grant read-only access

We send the access request; you approve it from your account's access settings.

Within 5 business days

Findings and call

The written findings arrive, and we book the call to go through them.

FAQ

Attribution Gap Check FAQ

Is the check really free?

Yes, for businesses spending $100,000 or more a month on paid media. Below that spend we are not the right fit, so we do not offer it.

Do you need access to our CRM?

No. The check reads the ad account only. If we later work together, connecting the CRM is the first build step.

Can our current agency stay on the account?

Yes. Read-only access sits alongside theirs and changes nothing they do. Many of the accounts we review are still run by another agency.

What happens to our access afterwards?

You can remove it the day the findings arrive. If you keep it, it stays read-only.
